The ForestNavigator project was selected by the European Commission under the Research and Innovation Actions call for proposals 'HORIZON-CL5-2021-D1-01-09: The contribution of forest management to climate action: pathways, trade-offs and co-benefits' and it is funded with a budget of 5,995,240 EUR. The project will start in October 2022 and last until September 2026. Coordinated by IIASA, the ForestNavigator project consortium consists of 24 partners from 12 European and 2 Non-European countries. Besides IIASA, these include leading research organisations, supported by the management consulting partner ARTTIC Innovation GmbH.
